Mrs. Kathryn "Kathy" Bryan Carter, 65 of Fayetteville, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Carter was a retired elementary school teacher with the Cumberland County School System with over 30 years of services. She was a member of MacPherson Presbyterian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, Elder, Choir member, and a member of the Women of the Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, at 2 p.m. at MacPherson Presbyterian Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and after the service in the parlor with a reception.

Surviving are her husband, David Carter; sons, Bryan Carter, Samuel Carter and wife Susan all of Charlotte; sister Elizabeth Schlaman of Lincoln, CA ; brothers, Mack Bryan and wife Debbie of Wilmington, David Neill Bryan of Sanford; grandchildren, Tyler and Avery Carter.
