Mrs. Kathryn Dotson "Kitty" Broadwell, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at 11a.m. in Wrightsville United Methodist Church in Wrightsville Beach with the Rev. Bob Bauman officiating. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be held Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at 2 p.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street with the Rev. Dennis Goodwin officiating.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Edward D. Broadwell Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Edward Broadwell III and wife Nancy of Cookville, Tenn., Alan Broadwell and wife Sandy of Fayetteville, and David Broadwell and wife Carol of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Deborah McReynolds of Middlesex, and Ruth Cotton and husband Steve of Wilmington; brothers, Frankie Dotson of Flowood, Miss., Jimmy Dotson of Cheraw, S.C.; sisters, Niwana Cohn of Sheril's Ford, Emily Hefner of Lancaster, S.C., Paige Smith of Florence, S.C.; grandchildren, Amy Emmanuel, Sue Broadwell Wilson, Emily Broadwell, Christy Hooper, Kelly Bendel, Carrie McReynolds, David McReynolds, Jonathan McReynolds, Stuart Cotton and Marshall Cotton; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandson.
