Kathryn Morris Scruggins, 71, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at her residence with her family by her side.

Kathryn was born on January 22, 1949 in Cumberland County to James A. Morris, Sr. and Lenore Williams Scruggins.

A private family service will be held.

She was preceded in death by her father, James A. Morris, Sr.; brother, James "Jimmy" Morris, Jr.; sisters, Shelby Gerber, Brenda Shanks and her grandson, Coby Savoy.

Surviving are her daughter, Amy Scruggins; son, Drew Scruggins and wife Jamie; mother, Lenore Morris; brothers, William Morris, Gerald Morris; sister, Denise Lee; grandchildren, Caleb Scruggins, Haley Raske and Blake Savoy
