Mrs. Katie Lee Davis, 83, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, in her residence. Funeral services will be held graveside at 11 am on Monday, June 27, 2011, in Cumberland Memorial Gardens with Dr. Leon Keefe officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Sunday afternoon at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John I. Davis. She is survived by her four daughters, Priscilla Jean McGill and husband Jerry of Spring Lake, Jackie Davis of Fayetteville, Diane Booth of Bowie, Maryland, and Melody Davis of Fayetteville; two sons, Bradford Davis and wife Tommie of Yadkinville and Steve I. Davis of Yadkinville; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Sue Hutchens and Linda Zachary, both of Yadkinville.
