Kerry Linn Fields, 45 years old, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed to be with God on Sunday, May 30, 2021.  Kerry was born June 20, 1975 in Adrian, Michigan to Richard and Linda (Dunham) Frazier. She grew up in Britton, Michigan and graduated from Britton-Macon Area Schools in 1993. On May 16, 1998 she married the love of her life, Chris Fields. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Education from Eastern Michigan University. She had been a teacher in the Fayetteville community since 2007.

Mrs. Fields was a beloved 5th Grade teacher at Ashley Elementary School. In 2019, she received the district Teacher of the Year award.  She loved to antique shop, bake, take pictures, draw, was an avid reader, loved teaching her 'kids', and spending time with her husband and son, Brendan.

In addition to her husband and son, Mrs. Fields is survived by her parents, her sister Jennifer Krey, her nephew Matthew Krey, and enumerable friends and family. Kerry is preceded in death by her grandparents Delmar (Wilma) Dunham and Paul (Hazel) Frazier, and her aunt Ginger Frazier.

Visitation  will be on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral home. Funeral service will be on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery on Hwy 301, Gillespie Street.
