FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Kevin R. Powell, 27, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Highsmith Rainey Specialty Hospital.

Kevin was a 2009 graduate of Cape Fear High School.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 2 pm in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with Rev. Archie Barringer presiding. The burial will follow at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon to 2 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Richard and Betty Powell of the home; his Nanny, Alene Adcox of Fayetteville; his grandmother, Miriam Guinard of Fayetteville; his dear friends, Tyler Horne, Corey Hardin and Andy Kotz; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
