Kristin Laurin Mattox, 60 of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021.

Kristin was born on June 19, 1961, in Rochester, NY to James Laurin and the late Sally Buholtz. She just recently retired as a Data Manager with the Robeson County School System.

She loved crossword puzzles, sitting on her back porch, and a good cup of coffee.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Michael G. Mattox; father, James Laurin; stepfather, Michael Puckett; sons, Cory Locklear (Jessica), Sean Locklear (Rachel), Matthew Locklear; brothers, Mark Laurin (Stacy), Tom Laurin (Vivian), Jamie Laurin (Betty Sue); grandchildren, Takorah Long, Kyrie Locklear, Faith Escamilla, Amelia Locklear, Lexi Locklear, and Jackson Locklear.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
