Kun H. Ranew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Kun H. Ranew, age 56, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital. Mrs. Ranew was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Kyung Ki Do, South Korea, to Ki-Nam Choi and Tae-Hee Kang. She attended Fayetteville Korean Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Soon-Hwa Choi. Survivors include her husband, Larry J. Ranew of the home; sons, James L. Richards of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Michael J. Ranew of Fayetteville; daughters, Stephanie D. Yarboro of Graham and Melissa A. Madison of Greensboro; brothers, Suk-Pa Choi, Jong-Hwa Choi and Chi-Hwa Choi; and sisters, Mee-Hwa Choi and Ju-Hwa Choi. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 19, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Louis Pender officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
