L.G. Dunn, 92, died Friday, December 8, 2017 at his home in Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Robert and wife Francine of Charlotte; grandchildren, Justin Dunn, R.J. and Taylor Dunn; brother, James of Morehead City. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Windy Dunn.

Mr. Dunn was retired from First Citizens Bank as a Vice President at the Fort Bragg office. He was a graduate of Morehead City High School, served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and was an avid golfer. He was a member of Haymount United Methodist Church where he was an active member of the Barrington Bible Class.

A memorial service will be held at Haymount United Methodist Church on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at the Church. Memorials may be made to Haymount United Methodist Church or to his Sunday School Class, 1700 Ft. Bragg Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303.
