Obituary

GREENVILLE - Lacy Taylor Capps, 77, of Greenville and formerly of Fayetteville, died Monday, April 9, 2012, in Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Burial will follow in Church of the Covenant cemetery in Spring Lake. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Capps was an Army veteran, serving in Korea. He was preceded in death by two sons, William Taylor Capps and Lacy Eugene "Gene" Capps. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Devane and husband Craig of Fayetteville; and three grandchildren, Heather, Jamie and Michael. The Church of the Covenant is located at 118 W.
