Lane Lewis Mueller, 52, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at his residence, after a four year battle with cancer.

Lane was employed with Fed-Ex for the past 20 years, and enjoyed spending his time off on the golf course or at Cherry Grove Beach.

He was preceded in death by his father, John "Jack" Mueller.

He was a loving husband, father and son. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Alise Julian Mueller; daughter, Taylor Mueller; mother, Sybil Mueller; brother, Mark Mueller; and his In-laws, Jimmy and Gladys Julian.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
