Larry Robert Mercer, 63 passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 surrounded by the angels Michael and Gabriel and his loving family and friends.

Larry was a faithful employee of Purolator for 43 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Mercer; brother, Billy Mercer and sister, Linda Beachler.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with Rev. Gary Lucas, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home on Saturday.

He is survived by his loving wife,Reba Coleman Mercer; son, Larry Robert Mercer, Jr. and wife Cherie; daughter, Tonya Mercer; grandson, Cole and granddaughter, Mallory of Fayetteville; sister, Betty Zerr and Husband Richard of New Bern; brothers, Boyd and wife Joan Mercer and Carlon Mercer and wife Mary of Fayetteville.
