Mr. Larry Haskell Robertson,86, of Fayetteville, NC passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born November 19, 1934 in Craigsville, VA to the late Mary Doyle Robertson and Haskell Cleveland Robertson. Larry was preceded in death by two sisters, Beatrice Welcher and Stella Glover; and two brothers, Burnett Robertson, Kenneth Robertson, and brothers-in-law, Leslie Ramsey and William Dodd.

Larry served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He would go on to pursue a career as an insurance agent. Larry was a dedicated and faithful member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joyce Dodd Robertson; his children, Karen Libby and husband Bill of Fayetteville, NC and Michael Robertson of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren, John Robertson, McKenna Robertson, Benjamin Crumpler, Madysen Libby, and Brandon Libby; his godchild; Leslie D. Santiago, husband Chet and daughter Elise; his sisters Betty Hammer of Staunton, VA, Pluma Wilkerson of Staunton, VA, and Lina Harper and husband, Bob of Fishersville, VA; his brother, Donald Robertson of Augusta Springs, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Elsie Robertson, Barbara Dodd Ramsey, and Patsy Dodd Eye and husband Sheldon; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00AM at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor John Cook officiating. A private committal service for the family will be held at the Snyder Memorial Baptist Church Columbarium.
