LaTashia Denise Young, 31 of Raeford, North Carolina, passed away on 26 March 2017 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

LaTashia Denise Young was born in Natchez, Mississippi to Anthony and Gwendolyn Young on 16 June 1985 (Father's Day). As a child she was always curious, full of life and love. She graduated Westover High School in Fayetteville. She studied business and customer service at UNC Greensboro and Fayetteville Technical Community College. LaTashia worked as a Senior Customer Service Representative for Public Works Commission from July 2014 until learning of her leukemia diagnosis in December 2016.

LaTashia Denise Young is survived by her son Preston Lee Bush of Raeford, NC; parents Anthony and Gwendolyn Young of Fayetteville, NC; sister La Keshia Denise Young-Curnan, children Jason and Samarra of Fort Irwin, CA; and her significant other Jeffrey Lee Bush of Raeford, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm Saturday, 1 April 2017 at Manna Church with Rev. Danny H. Young of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Gulfport, MS officiating. The family will receive friends Friday night from 5-7pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
