Laura Marie Gajewski Lorek of High Point formerly of Fayetteville died Friday, February 17, 2017 at Pennybyrn Assisted Living.

Mrs. Lorek was born December 4, 1917 in Lyndora, PA. to the former John and Agnes Rappa Gajewski.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Paul Lorek.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Jo Foley and husband Joseph of Wilmington, Joseph Gerard Lorek and wife Susan of Raleigh, Mary Jo Pembrook and husband Randy of Edwardsville, IL, Michael Joseph Lorek and wife Renee of Ooltewah, TN and Laura Jo Goldston of High Point; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Monday February 20, 2017 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
