Laurea Dorothia Hudson, 79 of Lumberton, Formerly of Jamaica (West Indes) and New York, passed away on Monday August 9, 2010. She was born August 18, 1931 in Havana, Cuba. She worked for 38 years at Claedonia Hospital Centers as a supervisor. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Lloyd and Reginald Hudson. There will be a viewing and visitation at The Cromartie Temple of Praise, 107 Lessane Street, Lumberton, NC on Saturday August 21, 2010 from 1pm to 2pm. The funeral will follow at 2pm with Bishop Simon Wells officiating. The burial will follow at a later date in Haughton Grove Cemetery in Hanover, Jamaica. She is surivied by a son, Rev. Erol Tinling and his wife, Jacqueline of Lumberton, 2 daughters, Anita Morgan Selby and husband Claude of Lumberton and Joy Naomi Lewis and husband Deryck of California, 2 Sisters, Enid Hudson Ngus and Clarice Norma Hudson of Jamaica, 3 Brothers Beris Hudson of England, Daniel Hudson of Texas and Leslie Hudson. 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
