Lauretta D. McMillan of Wade, NC passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at home in the company of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. McMillan, and is survived by her son Chris and his wife Charlotte of Wade, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law Jacqueline Dail of Garner.

Lauretta was a long-time employee of Carolina Telephone / Sprint and was an active member of McMillan Presbyterian church.  She loved working in her yard and garden and cooking and caring for her family.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, June 6, at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church and the family will receive friends following the service.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in memory of Lauretta to McMillan Presbyterian Church, 4147 Goldsboro Rd. Wade, NC 28395
