STEDMAN - Lawrence Roger Bullock, 53, of Stedman, died Sunday, March 8, 2009, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Mr. Bullock was the owner and operator of Professional Opticians since 1979. He was active in Gideons International, Goldwing Road Riders Association K-2 Division, and he was a member of Kiwanis of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009, in Stedman Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Randal Strickland officiating. Entombment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, March 10, 2009, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mr. Bullock is survived by his wife, Marilyn Bullock of the home; two daughters, Shelley Taylor and husband James of St. Pauls, and Crystal Fields and husband Dohn of Stedman; two brothers, Roy Bullock and wife Sheila of Fayetteville, and Ray Bullock of Florida; his mother, Margaret Horne of Fayetteville; and his father and stepmother, Lawrence and Sandra Bullock of Parkton.
