Mrs. Lena Cannady Burgett, 79, of Wilmington, formerly of Fayetteville, died Saturday, January 19, 2008, at her residence. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at 11 am in LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Blake Faircloth. She is survived by her two sons, Tommy Matthews and James Matthews; two daughters, Peggy Etheridge and Marianna Calhoun; a stepson, Cam Faircloth; 12 grand children and 9 great-grandchildren.
