Leon Prentis Driggers, 90, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the N.C. State Veterans State Nursing Home. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII. A graveside Service will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Driggers was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Ressler; and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are his sons, Buddy Driggers of Box Springs, Ga. and Johnny Driggers of Fayetteville; daughter, Audrey Fallin and husband Billy of Lillington; son-in-law, Kenneth Ressler of Sanford; brother, Edward Driggers and wife Elizabeth of Fayetteville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
