Mrs. Annie Leona O'Neill, 91, of Youngsville and formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011. Leona was a longtime resident of Fayetteville and a dedicated member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed tending to her yard, flower gardens and loved the beauty of all the changing seasons. Leona lived a long and healthy life until the last few years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by all of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cosby M. O'Neill; and her brother, Henry Webb. Leona is survived by her son, Don Michael O'Neill and his wife, Kay; her daughter, Margaret (Pat)O'Neill Watson and her husband, Dr. Earl Watson; two sisters, Ella Mae Saad of Spokane, Wash., and Gerty Colfish of Portsmouth, Va.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A visitation with the family will be held at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
