Leona Estelle Sasser Barnhill, 91, of Fayetteville, went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Lloyd Barnhill, two daughters, Gwen L. Barnes and Marsha B. Porter, a son, Lloyd Douglas Barnhill and a grandson, Christopher Diamond Turner.

She leaves behind a son, George J. Barnhill (Krista Barnhill) and a daughter, Jacqueline B Traywick.  She also has numerous great grand/grand children. She loved them very much. They loved her and will truly miss her. She retired from Cape Fear Valley Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She loved the Lord and worshipped at Village Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at Village Baptist Church at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 and a Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM.  Mrs Barnhill will be buried at Garland Cemetery in Garland NC.
