Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Lewis Parry Sims, 87, of Fayeteville died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Funeral services will be sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, at 4 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Surviving are wife Ruth Perry-Sims of Fayetteville, daughter, Sharon Sims Koffman of Hendersonville; son, Robyn L. Sims of West Fork, Ark.; grandson, Douglas Sims of Boise, Idaho; two great-grandchildren, Anna and William, stepchildren, Dr. Stephanie L. Perry of Durham, and Dr. Everett L.
