Lillian Ruth Floyd, 87, of Fayetteville went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Friday, December 4, 2015 in Village Green Care Center surrounded by her loving family.

Lillian was born on September 16, 1928 in Robeson County, N.C. to the late Lillian Page and Clyde Johnson. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Stewart, Helen Arnette, Matalyn Arnette, and Gwendolyn Johnson; brothers, Clyde Johnson and Bill Johnson.

Lillian was a dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Lillian spent most of her life being an example of the love and grace of her Lord Jesus Christ.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 12 noon in Village Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce Martin officiating. She will be buried in Page's Chapel Cemetery in Fairmont with Rev. Russell Kinlaw officiating. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary at the church one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m.

Lillian is survived by her loving husband, Hennard Stephen Floyd, Sr. of the home; sons, Hennard Stephen Floyd, Jr. of Fayetteville and Gregory Winslow Floyd of Fayetteville; sister, Shirley Dickens of Fayetteville; brother, A.P. Johnson of Southern Pines; grandchildren, Christina Elizabeth Floyd, Kathryn Floyd Moore and husband Graham, Rachael Ann Floyd, Jonathan Winslow Floyd and wife Kelly, Laura Anne Floyd, Christopher Gregory Floyd and Nathan Winslow Floyd.
