Ms. Lillie Mae Giddens, 90, of Raeford, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at her residence.

Ms. Giddens was born November 23, 1931, in High Point, NC, to the late Robert James Staton and Floy Zelda Clifton Staton.   She was a devoted mother and Christian and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Ms. Giddens was preceded in death by a son, James Giddens.

Ms. Giddens is survived by four children, John Giddens (Cristy), Retha Moore, Barbara Johnson (Van), and Edith Ramos; a daughter-in-law, Claudia Giddens; eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at 513 Woodberry Circle, Raeford, NC 28376.
