Mrs. Lilly Eckblom Geddie , 89 of Durham, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 in Croasdale Village in Durham. Mrs. Geddie was a retired divisional manager with Sears for over 30 years. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. with the Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery on Saturday. Mrs. Geddie was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Olive Geddie and her sisters Thelma Pallo and Myrtle Eckblom. She is survived by her daughter Janet Scott and husband Steve of Durham and a sister Emma Keyes of Grand Junctiion, Colorado and granddaughter Lauren Scott and sister-in-law Faye Geddie Hall of Eastover and several nieces and nephews.
