Limond B. Comley, Jr., 91, 0f Fayetteville formerly of Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Limond was born on November 7, 1929, in Woodford County, Kentucky to the late Limond B. Comley, Sr. and Fanny Bingham Comley.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from the U.S. Airforce after 26 years of service and was a member of the Rifle Team. After retiring from the military, he worked with the Montgomery County Sherriff's Department. Then he retired from the Dayton Power and Light Company. He was a Mason and Shriner, where he enjoyed working with the Shrine Circus. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to travel.
A memorial service will be held Saturday June 26 at 2PM at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary; daughter, Sharon; and brothers, Bill and Harold.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Donna; son, Limond B. "Butch" III; daughters, Karen, Debbie and Rhonda; sister Lillie Mae; and brother, Edward; numerous, Grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
