LINDEN - Mrs. Linda S. Henley, 60, of Linden, went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, in UNC Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at 3 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Bowen and Dr. Norman Mitchell officiating. Burial in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. Henley worked as an EMT for 25 years, of which 18 years was spent at Womack Army Medical Hospital in their ambulance section. She was preceded in death by her father, Avin \\"Shorty\\" Vance Stubbs; and brother, baby Stubbs. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy L. Henley of the home; son, Jimmy L. Henley Jr. and wife Sharon of Fayetteville; daughter, Teresa Henley Butler and husband Ricky of Linden; and five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Henley, Krista Ledford, Steven Kendall, Austin Butler and R.C. Butler IV; great-grandchild, Melanie Ledford; mother, Mary Frances Stubbs of Fayetteville; sisters, Frances Kay Owen and husband John of Henderson, and Sharon Gail Raynor and husband Buddy of Stedman; brother, Jesse Franklin \\"Frankie\\" Stubbs and wife Michelle of Fayetteville.
