Mrs. Linda Smith Johnson, 76, of Tom Starling Road, Fayetteville died Monday, February 19, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

A funeral service will be held Monday, February 26, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Scot McCosh officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rubell S. Harris and James W. Smith; her husband, William K. Johnson; and her sisters, Peggy S. Woodell and Barbara J. Smith. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, James Hubbard and wife, Norma, children and grandchildren of San Antonio, Texas; son, Travis Hubbard and wife, Jill,and children of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania;and sister, Mae Parsons of Fayetteville. Mrs. Johnson was the former secretary of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, walking and crocheting. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
