Linda McKee Ridley, 73, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday May 17, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 1pm to 2pm at Community Praise Assembly, 7462 Glen Raven Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306 with funeral services following at 2pm. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park - West on Raeford Road

She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis William Ridley and two sisters, Susie McKee and Ruth McKee

Linda was born in Massey Hill and went to Massey Hill High School. She went on to work at Fort Bragg as a Dental Assistant and later became a Dental Therapist. Linda enjoyed reading and planting flowers, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends. Linda was known for her sense of humor. She often had the whole room laughing. She was a caregiver by nature, always caring for those around her.  Linda and David were married April 28,1967.

Linda is survived by her husband, David Ridley; daughter, Sherry Ridley Koonce and husband, Mitchel D. Koonce; She was called Nana by her grandchildren and Gigi by her great grandchildren. Grandchildren: Danyelle Ridley Simmons, Tyler Koonce, Mitchell Koonce and girlfriend, Claudia Davila, Lacey Ridley Alford and husband, Nicholas, Jessica Koonce; great -grandchildren, Trevor Alford, Evelyn Simmons (named by her Gigi and they shared their birthdays together), Addison Simmons (Addie); dear family friends, Linda Thomson, Peggy Wydra, Andrea Fenley Bunn, Jeannie Woods, and Beatrice Johnson
