Linda McCollum Nichols, 77 of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side.

Linda was born on April 3, 1943 in Anderson, SC to the late Monroe McCollum and Willie Evans McCollum. She was retired from Customer Service (Civil Service). She was a member of the American Pool Players Association and she loved to sing Karaoke.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, February 15 at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Bridges and Lewis McCollum.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Billy C. Nichols; daughter, Shera "Donna" N. Emprimo; grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Emprimo; great granddaughters, Teylor, Arianna, Allison, Sierra and Judith; sisters, Frances Shackleford, Louise Miller and May Freeman.
