Linda Ruth Snyder Walters, 82, of Fayetteville, NC, died Friday, December 22, 2023, at Autumn Care of Fayetteville.

Linda was born March 12, 1941, in Newport News VA, to the late Carl James Snyder and Lillie Haney Snyder.  She was an administrative assistant in the medical field.  Linda was a member of Berean Baptist Church since 2000.  In her early years, she enjoyed gardening, roller skating, bowling, shopping, fishing and trips to the beach.  She also was a wonderful cook.  Her favorite flower was a rose.  She also loved hummingbirds and cardinals.

Linda is survived by her husband of 61 years, Luke Walters, Jr; daughter, Kelly Walters Wallace; three grandchildren, Tiana, Jayden, and Faith Wallace; grandson, Ezra Brown; four sisters, Wilma Whitaker, Maxine Crockett, Carlene Holmes, Kathleen Scruggs; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her brother, James Carl Snyder.

A funeral service will be held at Berean Baptist Church, in Fayetteville, NC, on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
