FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Lois Jean Alderman, 59, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Clyde Alderman; and sister, Mary Christina Alderman. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville. Burial, 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011, in Alderman-Clontz Cemetery in Hillsville, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Mrs. Alderman is survived by her sister, Marie Edwards and husband Nelson of Sanford; brother, Delton Ray Alderman and wife Mary of Mount Airy; nieces, Sheila Taylor of Sanford and Susan Holder of Hillsville; nephews, Nelson Edwards Jr. of Yadkinville and Delton Alderman of Pearisburg, Va.
