Lonnie Phillips, 62, of Hope Mills, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Phillips retired from Goodyear Tire Co in 2012. Funeral arrangements will be held Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with burial following in Lafayette Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by his son, Lonnie Jackson Phillips, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Debbie; daughters, Michelle Johnston and Vanessa Russell; brother, Eugene and John Phillips, Walter Reese and Bill Robertson; sisters, Peggy Atkinson and Bettie Page; Grandchildren, Carson Raynor, Cooper Johnston, Brayden and Tristan Russell. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 6 -8 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
