Lorena W. Cooper, 83, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011. She is survived by her children Durant O. Cooper Jr. and wife Carrie P. Cooper of Fayetteville, Wanda C. Siewers of Fayetteville, and Russell W. Cooper of Fort Mills, SC; grandchildren Morgan Ann Markham and Charles C. Siewers; and sisters Katie Stephenson of Cary, Annie P. Eason of Fuquay and Elizabeth Wilson of Miami, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Durant O. Cooper, father Robert H. Wortham, and mother Nanny Wortham and 7 brothers and 5 sisters. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 2 pm in the Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 at the funeral home.
