Fayetteville, N.C. Mrs. Louise McArthur Averette, 98 of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013 in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. Mrs. Averette was a faithful member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Louise was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a longtime employee of Western Auto in Elizabethtown. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Gethsemane Baptist Church 4300 Blanton Rd. Fayetteville, N.C. 28303. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Mrs. Averette is survived by her son David Averette and wife Mickey of Raeford, son-in-law Dr. Richard P. Belton and wife Diane of Gastonia; sister Bonnie Kenchington of Annapolis, Md., grandchildrem: Michael Averette and wife Mitzi, Steven Averette and wife Tracy, Maria Averette, Kelly Berry, Rick Belton, Cheri Belton; great grandchildren: Chelsea Averette, Carly Averette, Brock Averette, Mitchell Averette, Miller Berry, Helen Berry. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Vance Averette and a daughter Helen Averette Belton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gethsemane Baptist Church 4300 Blanton Rd.
