Mrs. Louise G. "Shorty" Crumpler, 92, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, March 29, 2007, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Crumpler was a member of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. "Tommy" Crumpler. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2007, in Sunnyside Presbyterian Church with Dr. Gray Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Crumpler family cemetery. A visitation will take place an hour prior to the service. Mrs. Crumpler is survived by her daughter, Joyce Fisher and husband Leslie of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Leslyn Fisher of Rock Hill, S.C., and Alan Fisher and wife Shannon of Fayetteville; a nephew, Lester Wolfe of Shelby; a grandnephew; and a grandniece.
