Louise Gibson Griffin, 94 of Fayetteville passed away Monday, May 1, 2017.

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park with Rev. Sandy Saunders, officiating. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

She is survived by her sons, John C. Griffin of Fayetteville and Howard Edwin "Eddie" Griffin, Jr. and wife Carla of White Oak; daughter, Ruth Ann Griffin of Hope Mills; brother, Robert W. Gibson, Jr. and wife Jane of Winston-Salem; sisters, Mary Ann Register and husband Milton of Fayetteville and Nanny Sue Hodges of Rome, Ga.; grandchildren, Robert Smith, Heather Guarch, Rebecca Reed, Michael L. Bowes, Everett W. Bowes, Joey Griffin, Sarah Rizer, Ricky Efrid and Chad Boysworth; 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Griffin, Sr.
