Join us as we celebrate the life of Louise Matthews of Fayetteville, NC. She joined our heavenly father on February 27, 2012 at the age of 74. Louise was born October 1, 1937 in Fayetteville to the late Lewis & Prudy Gore. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson William Gray Myrick. Mrs. Matthews is survived by her husband Julius "Curney " Matthews; two daughters, Vicky Myrick and husband Colon, Sherry Burnette and husband Todd; grandchildren, Brook & Courtney Myrick & Allen Burnette. Louise was a loving & caring wife, dedicated mother & grandmother. She retired from Wells Fargo after many years of service. She was an active member of the Lakedale Church of God, where she served in many positions for 62 years. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Jernigan -Warren Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel by the Reverend Tim Gore and Gary Harper. She will be laid to rest in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. Visitation: Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home and other times at the home of Todd and Sherry Burnette. Funeral: Thursday March 1, 2012 at 2pm in Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial: Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street
