FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Mary Louise Teabeaut Nichols, 80, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center.
Mrs. Nichols was born May 27, 1930, in Fayetteville, and was a graduate of Fayetteville High School and Peace College in Raleigh, where she received a business degree.
She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church and of the Greenwood Garden Club. She served as secretary of the Fayetteville Garden Council.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in Highland Presbyterian Church chapel with Dr. Ewart H. Wyle officiating. Private burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church session room.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by a daughter, Patricia Nichols DeMann of the home; a son, Cliff Nichols and wife Allison of Tega Cay, S.C.; grandchildren, Greg DeMann, Caryn Loften, Alex Nichols and Drew Nichols; a great-granddaughter, Patricia Loften; and a niece, Dr. Beverly Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her parents, James R. Teabeaut and Margaret McLeod Teabeaut; a sister, Margaret Ann \\"Peg\\" Wheeler; and brothers, Dr. James. R. Teabeaut II and Thomas Allen Teabeaut.
