FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Lucile Lee Huggins, 96, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Huggins was born Sept. 7, 1913, in Hamer, S.C., to the late Bessie Price and Daniel Jasper Lee. A 1937 graduate of Pittman Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse and retired from Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville after 36 years. She was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star in Fayetteville. Mrs. Huggins was preceded in death by her husband, Silas Franklin Huggins; and brothers, Daniel Dixon Lee and Wilmer S. Lee. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville, with Dr. Josh Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Huggins is survived by a brother, J.T.
