Obituary

Mrs.Lucille White Johnson, 88 of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, October 11,2014 in Oakhill Living Center in Angier, N.C.

Lucille was born on March 4, 1926to the late Julia McPherson and Henry C. White, Sr. She was preceded in deathby her brother Henry White, Jr.; sister Betty Hobbs and a nephew Phil White.

She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and a member of the FidelisSunday School Class. Lucille was employed with Belk for 12 years and a retiredcustomer service manager with Branch Bank & Trust after 38 years ofservice.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 1:00p.m. in First Baptist Churchwith theRev. A. Edward Beddingfield, Jr. officiating. The burial will follow in LafayetteMemorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends in the memoriallounge at the church on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00p.m.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years Johnny F.Johnson of the home; nieces Susan Butler of Raleigh andKaren Isner of Greensboro; nephew Jim Hobbsof Durham; 2 great nephews and 2 great nieces and 6 great-great nephews.
