Mrs. Lucille Hayes Ragan Johnson, 72 of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health in Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be held on Sunday August 31, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in South Erwin Baptist Church in Erwin with the Rev. Turner Matthews, officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husbands Early W. Ragan and Bobby H. Johnson. She is survived by her daughters RoseMarie Matthews-Knight and husband J.D. of Linden; Debbie Todd and Mike of Eastover; Elaine Krauter of Linden; sisters Ola Mae Raynor of Erwin; Margaret McKinney of Lillington; Nellie Smith of Fayetteville; Kitty Stevenson of Dunn and brothers Sam Hayes of Lillington; John Hayes of Lillington; Steve Stone of Lillington and 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
