Burial in Lafayette Memorial Park. Visitation, one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. Survived by: Daughters, Wanda Downing and Linda; brothers, Robert and Buck Carter; sisters, Doris Baker and Maxine Lavender; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday November 18, 2013 in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
