Ms. Lynn Stevens Strickland, 60, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015, at 2 pm in LaFayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside from 12:30 to 1:30 at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home.

Lynn loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, her friends and music. She worked as a medical secretary since graduation from business college and also attended Victory UMC with her family. Lynn shared a birthday with her sister, Kathy, separated by five years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold.

Lynn is survived by her mother, Clairee Stevens of the home; sister, Kathy Schaffer of Louisburg; nieces, Brandi Lovelace of St. Petersburg, FL and Jennifer Chaney of Louisburg; aunts, Mae Pullman of Fairfax, Virginia and Shirley Stevens of Fayetteville; and a host of extended family.
