GASTON, S.C. — Malcom Quigley, 79, of Gaston, formerly of Fayetteville, died Sunday, April 3, 2016.

Funeral services were held Wednesday.

Mr. Quigley was preceded in death by his parents, Edward T. and Kitsey Denning Quigley; son, Michael Quigley; sisters, Emily Jo Wright, Frances McLamb and Pattie Lee; and a brother, Houston Barfoot.

Surviving are his wife, Alice; sons, Keith Quigley and wife Donna, Eric Quigley and wife Lisa; daughter, Michelle Powers and husband Todd; sisters, Repsie B. Warren, Lerome B. Darden, Ruth B. Bailey and Mary Q. Wheatley; brothers, Waylon, Larry and Sherrill Quigley.

Grandchildren, Kealy Quigley, Amanda Williams and Ross Quigley, Daniel, Ayden Quigley, Megan and Morgan McKean, and Chris Quigley; a great granddaughter, Sierra Quigley.
