Marc Hamilton Morin, 59, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 1, 2023. At his side was his devoted partner, Ashley Legassie.

Marc was born on July 9, 1963, in La Rochelle, France, to Frank Ewing Morin and Ginette Pousson Moreau. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Jean Moreau, after coming to the US in 1964. Marc was known and loved for his sense of humor, playful spirit, and wit. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing, playing pool, listening to rock music, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He appreciated the value of a good joke, good music, and having a good time. Above all else, he appreciated the value of family — he especially adored his daughters, his son, and his grandchildren.

Marc is survived by his mother, Ginette Moreau; father, Frank E. Morin; three daughters, Annaliese Kittrell (Keith), Nicole Moananu (Steve), and Anjewel Morin (Ryan); son, Jordan Morin; seven grandchildren, Adela, Delaney, Jayden, Talia, Kane, Rylie, and Reagan; two brothers, Cary Morin and Frank S. Morin (Magdalena); two nieces, and one nephew. Marc was preceded in death by his sister, Natalie Morin, and stepfather, Jean Moreau.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Marc requested that his ashes be shared amongst his family members.
