Marcia Haddock McLawhorn, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at her residence with her family by her side.

Marcia was born on January 31, 1949, in Pitt County to the late Elijah Haddock and Beulah Mae Bethune Haddock. She was a member of Arran Lake Baptist Church for the past 32 years and retired from Civil Service at Ft. Bragg after 31 years of service.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. at Arran Lake Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11-12:30 p.m. prior to the service at the Church. A private family burial will be held at Sandhill State Veterans Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Wayne McLawhorn and her brother, Elijah Haddock.

She is survived by her sons, Bradley McLawhorn and wife Lucy, Kelley McLawhorn and wife Suganya; grandchildren, Arianna, Andrew and Austin McLawhorn.
