Margaret "Mae" Corum, 73, of Hope Mills died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 with her daughters Tammie and Wanda by her side.
Mae was a faithful member of Northwood Temple for many years. She enjoyed a multifaceted career as a bookkeeper, secretary, CMA, CNA and a private home health caregiver. Her hobbies included Reading, Journalling, Cooking, Gardening, Sewing and Crocheting. She enjoyed spending time and chatting with family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11 a.m.at Northwood Temple. Burial will follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Jeringan-Warren Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ruby Martin; husband, Donald Corum; son, Tony Lewis; stepson, Dale Meredith; brothers, Ray, Lee and Wilbur Martin; sister, Annie Rippeon.
Mae is survived by her daughters, Tammie Harvatin and husband Ricky, Wanda Mayer and husband Mac; stepchildren, Donna Lowder and husband Donnie, Mary Lou Stubbs and husband Duane, Roy Corum and wife Kandi; brothers, Earl Martin, Lewis Martin and wife Virgie, Johnny Martin and wife Carolyn, Paul Martin and wife Jeanette; sisters, Marie Proffitt and Frances Grigsby; sister-in-law, Grace Martin; grandchildren, Rebel, Justin, Kelsey, Stevie, Ashley, Richard, Adam, Gage, Jessica, Cathy, Laura, Katie, Megan, Ryan, Shayne, Whitney, John, Amy, Emily, and Corey; great grandchildren, Tony, Chevy, Hali, Nicolle, Tiffany, Ozzy, Jacob, Aydan, Addie, Lorelei, Emmalyn, Landon, Layken, Jase, Bristol, Pearson, Shayne Jr., Brittlyn, Maykaylee, Aryan; and a close family friend, Tommy Hall.
