Margaret Lee Harrison, born April 9, 1935, beloved wife of MSgt (Ret) Philip Leo Harrison, ascended to a heavenly plane on June 16, 2011 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. A daughter of the South, "Margie" was the epitome of the style, grace and dignity no matter the adversity. She was born in Canton, Georgia, but her family relocated to Alcoa, Tennessee at the foothills of her Smokey Mountains. She attended Alcoa High School and was a Majorette with the marching band and a guard on the basketball team. After school she was employed by Southern Bell Telephone.
